Zaentz Zara and Hotels United are taking their suit designs from the past, bringing them into the 21st century with the creation of the Zafulness.
The suit was inspired by the early-20th century bathing suits and features a mesh, water-absorbing material that allows the wearer to get in the water without having to remove their shoes.
The Zarafulness is available in four color options, and is priced at $1,999.
The hotels have been in production for the past six months, with production beginning in March, according to a statement from the two companies.
Zaraful said in the statement that the suit is currently in the prototype phase, but that it will be ready for general retail in 2020.
Hotels United has said that the Zaraness will be available to travelers by mid-2020, and Zaance says it is currently working on a release for the United States.
The Zaraments are available in three sizes, which range from $1.5 to $2,999: The standard size has a mesh layer covering the upper that provides a water-repellent layer for the wearer.
The smaller size has an elastic layer on the inside that allows for better support.
The standard Zarament has a removable layer of fabric over the waistband, and comes in four colors: yellow, green, red, and black.
The zigzag-style Zaraement is available for $2.95 and the zebra-style is $3.50.
The $2 and $3 options have a price difference, but the zigzagging Zaraements come with a zipper on the outside.
Hotel Zara, a brand that offers zebra suits and zebra jackets, said the Zerafulness will be “the most unique bathing suit available today.”
